Expected Learning Outcomes
The program in “Artificial Intelligence” aims to produce high-level specialized professionals in cutting-edge topics of Informatics and particularly in the field of Artificial Intelligence, and to advance research in this specific field, so that its graduates can successfully fill advertised positions in the Private and Public Sector and staff Research and Higher Education Institutions.
The objectives of the program in “Artificial Intelligence” of AUTH are fulfilled through attendance of organized postgraduate courses and the completion of a master’s thesis in accordance with international academic standards that guarantee training and specialization in subjects of Artificial Intelligence.
To obtain the master’s degree of the Postgraduate Studies Program “Artificial Intelligence” of the School of Informatics, students are required, within the maximum duration stipulated in Article 5 of the internal regulations of the program, to accumulate ninety (90) credit units (ECTS). Sixty (60) ECTS are derived from courses. Thirty (30) ECTS are derived from the completion of the master’s thesis during the third semester, which is examined by a three-member examination committee.
In addition to their fundamental knowledge of their science and profession, graduates are expected to be able to:
